Jason J. Ling, PE, PMP, Principal
Jason Ling is passionate and technically experienced in multi-discipline civil engineering projects in the urban, suburban, and highway settings. He thrives in collaborations with Cities, Developers, Architects, and California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) on streetscape, joint trench, transportation, pipeline, land development, and site development projects.
Prior to becoming Principal at Urban Design Consulting Engineers, Jason Ling has been a Partner at a mid-sized global private consulting firm, as well as served in public works. He is a dynamic business-person, finding strategies that excite all the parties involved, an effective functional manager, and a successful project manager.
Jason Ling holds a Civil and Environmental degree from the University of California, Berkeley, a Project Management Certificate with Distinction from UC Berkeley Extension, and is Certified as a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute.
Jason Ling is also one of the founding members of the Urban Design West collective.

Dean Pontzious
Dean Pontzious commands the demanding skills required for the overall planning and control of a construction project. He brings hands-on construction experience to our Project Management, Construction Management, and Owner’s Representative services. He has a proven track record of successful construction supervision and has extensive experience in commercial and residential construction, design management, value engineering & cost analysis, energy compliance, drafting, permitting, new construction and alterations. He has been in the construction industry since 1973 and holds a General Building Contractor License.
Prior to becoming a part of Urban Design Consulting Engineers, Mr. Pontzious has been the No. 1 Project Manager at a Commercial design / build Contractor. |
